The Red Sea REEF-FRAME MAX 170 is the complete, ready-to-run version of the REEF-FRAME 170. The REEF-FRAME range is Red Sea’s modern reef-ready system, with a Euro-braced ultra-clear glass aquarium, internal overflow and a matching cabinet with sump – and the option of a warm oak finish to suit your home. The MAX package adds all the core Red Sea equipment – lighting, flow, skimming, roller-mat filtration and smart control – matched to the size of the tank, so everything works together from day one. At 175 litres total volume, it’s a great size for a first reef or a smaller room.

• DC protein skimmer – removes organic waste before it breaks down, helping keep water clean
• ReefMat – automatic roller-mat filter that replaces filter socks and traps debris
• ReefControl Pro & ATO – smart hub with temperature monitoring and automatic top-off to keep salinity stable

• Full of saltwater, the system holds around 179 kg of water alone, before rock, sand and the cabinet – place it on a solid, level floor and ask us if you’re unsure
• Position near a power supply, away from direct sunlight and radiators

Delivery & collection

• Free kerbside home delivery direct from Red Sea UK to England & Wales
• Or choose free collection from our shop in Swanley, Kent
• Deliveries run Tuesday–Thursday, 8am–6pm, by lorry – the driver will try to call ahead
• We place your order with Red Sea straight away; delivery is booked for at least 2 working days later, and we’ll let you know if there’s a longer lead time
• Kerbside only – please make sure there’s lorry access and someone on hand to help move it inside
